If you know me, you know I have a crappy memory. Even moreso now that I work FT, run 2 businesses, and have a kid...Hence my blog title :) But I'll try to remember and keep up as much as I can. I'm sure most of the pics will be of Garrett....so sit back, relax, and watch my little man grow :)

Today's lesson: How to stuff your mouth with pancakes
Garrett thought it was funny to stuff his mouth full of pancakes and show me. Besides that, these pics also give you a better look of his face from when he fell out the front door onto the concrete.
And yes, his eyes really are that blue. These are un-edited photos.
Yep, that's a WHOLE pancake in his mouth.

Learning colors
Garrett loves this book that Kristie got him (at my baby shower). We'll go through and say the colors. Last night he amazed me, though. We were on the Gray page and there was a dolphin in water. I said gray and Garrett said "boo" (blue). I said no, it's a gray dolphin. He pointed to the water and again said "boo"
Smart little booger showin' off
He slept with the book last night and had to take it with him in the truck this morning.

Little Fart
I don't see me taking a picture today because I'm crazy busy. So here's a second one from yesterday and a little story to go along with it . . .
Garrett and I got home and there was a package in a big bag (it was raining) tied to our screen door handle. So I put G inside the house, went onto the porch and, because of his recent face plant onto the porch - )pics coming whenever I decide to upload them), closed the screen door. The delivery guy tied this bag really well to the door handle. It took me a few minutes to get it off. In the meantime, Garrett decided to lock me out of the house. I don't THINK he meant to - he was just playing with the handle. Well, this is how I got back in:
Yep, see that big slice in the screen? there was a little hole at the bottom there so I made it bigger and sliced all the way up until I could unlock the door. This was after 5 minutes of me trying to coach him to unlock it.

Fresh produce
I have to go way out of my way to shop at Meijer, but the below picture is an example of why I do. Fresh brussel sprouts. The only bad produce I've ever bought there were apples. 3 bags in a row. They weren't bad when I bought them, but 2 days later they were rotten.
And these brussel sprouts were yummy.
I've totaly lived up to the name of the blog
Sometimes I love the cafe at work and the food they have. Today was one of those days. Spinach and mushroom stuffed Basa... YUUMMY!
It's not the best picture b/c it was taken with my cell phone. But trust me - it was delicious!

Feb 12th - Someone knows how to unzip his jammies. At least he still had his diaper on!

Day 36 - The many emotions of Garrett
He was so excited to see daddy this morning
(too bad I didn't really capture that excitement - but trust me - he was happy)
(too bad I didn't really capture that excitement - but trust me - he was happy)
Then he wanted to play with the sweeper. But it had to be turned on. Works for me, I now have a clean rug :)
This was his reaction after I took it away. 20 minutes was long enough
He got so mad that he just HAD to take his new shoes off.
(a few minutes ago he HAD to have them put on)
But then he agreed to play peek a boo w/ me ... Using your shirt is so much more fun than your hands.

Day 32 - Feels like a pajama kinda day
Garrett and I have been cooped up in the house for 2 days now. So we both stayed in our pajamas and watched a lot of cartoons.
And he gave mommy a lot of hugs and kisses . . .
